Derek has played a key role in over a dozen films and videos in the last two years, and has recently finished production on his latest, Waiting Line. His previous short film, By Any Other, screened at several festivals and won the Best Student Narrative award at the New England Film and Video Festival last year. Derek's production experience includes the films XX/XY, and Mona Lisa Smiles, starring Julia Roberts. At present, Derek is working as a freelance Editor and Production Assistant in the Boston area.
